Codeword puzzles for patient, satisfying solving. Each grid is a crossword without clues: every letter has been replaced by a number, and the same number always stands for the same letter. A few starter letters are given in every puzzle; as you work out the code, the words fill themselves in.

Inside are 501 puzzles, and no grid is repeated. The puzzles are printed two to a page in large, clear type. The full solutions are at the back of the book.
