We collect as little as we can, never sell it, and never use advertising trackers. This page explains what happens to your data on tioppress.com.
Who we are
TIOP Press is a brand of Velverna LLC. Velverna LLC is the data controller for this website. It is a Wyoming limited liability company at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.
Visiting this site
This site does not use cookies, has no accounts and shows no advertising. Its fonts are hosted on the site itself, so no font service learns about your visit.
To see how many people visit and which pages they read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless: it counts page views in aggregate and does not identify you or follow you from site to site. Its small script is loaded from static.cloudflareinsights.com.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Emailing us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you, and keep them only as long as needed for that and for our business records.
Bonus emails
When you ask for a free bonus on a Bonus page, we collect:
- your email address
- your first name, if you give it
- the Book code of the book the page belongs to (none if you chose a puzzle type instead), which tells us which bonus to send and which books bring in sign-ups
First we email you a link to confirm your address. Until you open it, we don't add you to our list: your details travel only inside that link, which stops working after a few days. If you never confirm, you won't hear from us again.
Once you confirm, you join the TIOP Press email list. We send you your bonus, a few welcome emails, and after that news of new books and at most one free puzzle a month. We use your details only for these emails, because you asked for them, and you can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email.
Our email service, Sender (sender.net), is our processor: it sends these emails, including the confirmation email, and stores the email list for us, under Velverna LLC's instructions. We keep your details while you're subscribed. To have them deleted, or for any other privacy request, write to the address under Your rights.
Buying on Amazon
TIOP Press books are sold on Amazon, not on this site. When you follow a link to Amazon, to buy a book or to see all our books there, you leave this site, and Amazon's own privacy notice applies there. Our links to Amazon are plain links, with no affiliate or tracking codes.
Who processes your data
- Cloudflare hosts this site and provides its analytics.
- Google hosts our email.
- Sender sends our Bonus emails and stores our email list (see "Bonus emails").
These providers may process data outside your country, under their own data protection terms.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how we use it. Send privacy requests to legal@velverna.com. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes to this policy
